Dr. Taylor is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the UCLA Department of Psychiatry and is the director of the UCLA psychiatry fellowship training program in college mental health.

Dr. Taylor is board certified in three areas:

1. Psychiatry, Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
2. Forensic Psychiatry, Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
3. Addiction Medicine, Diplomate of the American Board of Addiction Medicine

Dr. Taylor is licensed as a Physician and Surgeon by the Medical Board of California.  Additionally he provides professional evaluations and opinions as an Expert Reviewer for the Medical Board of California Expert Reviewer Program, a Special Medical Consultant to the Federal Air Surgeon, and a Qualified Medical Examiner for the California Division of Workers Compensation. 

Dr. Taylor graduated from Stanford University and attended medical school at The George Washington University.  He completed psychiatry internship and residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he was chief resident.  He then finished a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at New York University’s Bellevue Hospital.

Dr. Taylor works at the UCLA Counseling & Psychological Services and in private practice in Santa Monica.
